From the moment we arrived we felt thoroughly spoilt and relaxed!
We chose this villa as we wanted to be away from the hectic south but also nearer to dive sites and the beauty of East Bali.
The villa itself is off the beaten track but you can walk out to a few local restaurants and taxis into Candidasa are cheap and some of the restaurants even provide free transport!
Saying that the food prepared by the staff in the villa itself is excellent. Breakfast and afternoon tea are included in the rental price and the staff will also prepare lunch and evening meals. Some of the best food we ate in Bali was served by Ketut and Teeny and at a very low cost! We were expecting to eat out far more but enjoyed the relaxation the villa provided and the excellent service from all the staff. Wayan also climbed up the palm tree to provide us with our own fresh coconuts!
The villa itself is beautifully spacious with the emphasis on complete relaxation. For once photos on a website completely reflect what a place has to offer! From the views, only spoilt by the occasional tanker heading into the oil refinery, to the spaciousness both upstairs and downstairs!
The upstairs deck we used for our absolutely wonderful massages, provided by Ketut and Teeny and also a one to one yoga class. Yoga doesn’t quite seem the same back here in England!
We didn’t once switch on the telly, choosing instead to simply relax, read, talk and play games. One of the only criticisms would be the Wi-Fi connection as my husband unfortunately has to carry on working even when on holiday. This is was being sorted out as we left so will not be a problem in the future.
The beds are very comfortable and living spaces are all very well thought out and designed for your complete relaxation
The villa steps led down to the sea where you could enjoy snorkelling. We saw black tip reef sharks, nemos and many more! and the location of the villa is ideal for exploring Central and East Bali.
